This ward provides treatment and monitoring for patients as follows:
- Caring for patients with acute brain injury and respiratory failure requiring mechanical ventilation and accurate monitoring of vital signs such as Chronic Kidney Diseases (CKD), Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA), toxicity, and cancer
- Assessing the patient's level of consciousness
- Monitoring and evaluating hemodynamic and electrolyte changes, monitoring airway, breathing, heart, and renal function of patients
